In 'Ze kwamen nog één keer terug' verbindt jonge onderzoekster Judith Peters het persoonlijke met het wetenschappelijke. Door middel van tien unieke verhalen illustreert zij de blijvende vebinding tussen overleden dierbaren en achterblijvers. Aan de hand van de resultaten van haar onderzoek naar deze verhalen betoogt Judith dat het tijd wordt dat er in de Westerse samenleving meer ruimte en begrip komt voor (de gevolgen van) rouw en verlies.
Judith Peters (1991) rondde in 2017 cum laude de master Communicatie en Beïnvloeding af, aan de Faculteit der Letteren van de Radboud Universiteit. Voor haar masterscriptie naar existentiële verhalen ontving zij in 2018 de Universitaire Studieprijs. De resultaten van haar masterscriptie waren de aanleiding voor haar onderzoeksproject Verhalen van Verlies, wat heeft geresulteerd in dit boekje.

In ‘They came back one more time’, young researcher Judith Peters connects the personal with the scientific. Illustrated by ten unique stories she discusses the lasting connection between deceased loved ones and those left behind. Based on the results of her research into these stories, Judith argues that it is time for more space and understanding in Western society for (the consequences of) grief and loss.
Judith Peters (1991) completed her master’s degree in Communication and Influencing cum laude in 2017 at the Faculty of Arts of Radboud University. In 2018 she received the University Study Prize for her master’s thesis on existential stories. The results of her master’s thesis were the reason for her research project Stories of Loss, which resulted in this booklet.
