Sustainability

Radboud University contributes to a healthy, free world with equal opportunities for everyone; sustainability is therefore high on the agenda.
With our sustainable purchasing policy, we make an active contribution to a circular and climate-neutral university with an eye for the living environment and human well-being.
This is why we also provide a pick-up point or a physical point of sale instead of shipping packages and thus prevent transport (and therefore CO2 emissions). We also work with suppliers who use one or more of the following quality marks:

– OEKO Tex Standard 100 (health quality mark for textiles)
– Business Social Compliance Initiative (internationally recognized code of conduct for working conditions)
– Global Organic Textile Standard (quality mark for organic production/processing)
– Organic 100 Content Standard (quality mark for textiles made entirely of organic material)
– Global Recycled Standard (products must consist of at least 50% recycled material)
– PETA (vegan quality mark)
